All other products,
such as Meat, Chicken & Seafood require a full week's notice in
advance. |
The reasons for these
deadlines are because we stock virtually nothing, but instead, place
our orders weekly to ensure that you are receiving the freshest
product available. This is why you see the expiration dates on our
products are so much further on then the expiration dates on typical
store bought products. With stores/supermarkets, they go from the
farm to a warehouse. From the Warehouse to the Trucking Company.
Then the trucking company has their schedule to deliver to the food
store who then places the product in their backroom storage until
they take the time to put the product on the shelf.
With us, you can consider us more of a direct distributor. What you
get simply goes from the Farm to OMC, and then from OMC right to
your home. |

One more
item to note is that when we have seasonal product offerings, such
as the one recently announced in our newsletter and on our website
for the Spiral Ham are "Pre-Orders" so we can let the farm know in
advance how many of these products we will need. They are delivered
fresh, not frozen and are actually delivered a full week before the
actual Holiday. |
